Ribbon Cutting
Denny’s restaurant is now open! Chamber ambassadors gathered June 10, 2013 to celebrate Denny’s official ribbon cutting. On location were managers Julie and Justin Franklin, both from Longview, thanking the ambassadors for a warm welcome into the community. Denny’s will able to accommodate seating for about 140 people. This is one of many locations planned for the East Texas area.
Community Support
Denny’s employs valuable community members and offer our neighborhood customers friendly, attentive service. As the largest family-style restaurant company in North America, Denny’s has always taken its social responsibility seriously, understanding that it is a privilege to be able to give back to those we serve.
By becoming involved in neighborhood activities their customers care about, Denny’s give something back to our loyal customers and create positive, long-term relationships with our community members.
From sponsoring scholarship programs, at-risk children and human rights initiatives, Denny’s has contributed millions of dollars to communities over the past 50 years.
When a local restaurant crew puts genuine effort into creating a bond of trust with its community members, the crew takes themselves beyond being workers at a retail establishment located nearby to being good neighbors who take a genuine interest in the community and its quality of life.
Denny’s offers a scholarship program, Hungry for Education, that recognizes students by awarding deserving high school and college students with scholarships for their ideas to help Denny’s efforts to fight childhood hunger. Please click here for more information.
